Baby room decorating ideas

Kids generally do not understand the value of your wall paint, just and just because they are immature, and it is very natural. You would have yourself faced situations when your young son or other kids have just started to put a mark on the nicely painted wall and you rushed to stop him. However, things have changed these days and kids nowadays too need their space. So, why not design a doodling space just for your sweet little young one!

How about decorating kid’s rooms with a chalk board on one of those empty walls? This will keep your kid satisfied and would encourage kid’s wall art. The facility available here is that the board can be rubbed and reused several times.

Another kid’s playroom decorating ideas would include putting up the ‘peel and stick chalkboard’ panels. These panels are available in a number of shapes and sizes, apart from the regular rectangular ones. They are available in interesting shapes of animals like giraffe, elephants, hippos, etc. These are a better option as they are much cleaner than the chalk board paints.

Dry marker boards can also be used in kid’s room decoration. This should be used only if your kid has grown up a bit. The board can be used many times by rubbing and rewriting, without the problem of chalk dust.

Another option for kid’s room design is to use magnetic paints. The flexible rubber sheet magnets can be used well on them. Else the kids can be taken to the hobby store to choose their own shapes of magnets. Remember the commonly available refrigerator magnets do not attach on this paint.

Felt board can be used as a kids room décor item too. Generally toddlers and preschoolers use such types of boards. These felt boards for interior decorating kids rooms can even be prepared at home, with ease. Just attach a large felt or flannel on a thin ply board, using spray adhesive. Then, readymade felts can be purchased from the market or can even be made at home.

You can use these ideas to decorate kids bedroom, bathroom, play room, etc. While implementing ideas to decorating kids rooms, or while using furniture for decorating kids rooms; always remember not to use any such things which might affect the health of the kid. More ideas can be purchased from ‘the various online shops or simply by visiting different craft stores.
