· Measure your room first. Take your living room measurements and draw them to scale on a graph paper. Use the simple scale like ¼” = 1feet.
· Take measurement of all the items in your living room. The measurements of cables, light switches, telephone, windows, window spaces, window height, doors in the living room, outlets, etc should be taken and noted, as they affect they arrangement of your living room.
· Go for paper cutouts of your living room furniture. The paper cutouts would help you in arranging and rearranging the living room furniture in your living room until a satisfied result is obtained.
